This quiz has been conducted for students of class VI to X Class.Students were selected into four teams from four houses as 'Shivaji' , "Tagore " , "Ashoka " and Raman .

Film shows on Swachhta

Film shows were shown on Swachhta to create more awareness on cleanliness  and good practices of clean and greenness
for all primary students  and students of secondary also.Showing animated videos and award winning film shows children are motivated to practice good clealiness and healthy habits.

Day 8 12.09.2017 activities : Puppet Show and Poem Rectitation on Swachhta Pakhwada

       Students of primary presenting Good practices of cleaning and Hygiene in morning assembly.

useful  and informative , interesting and a wonderful Puppet Show after the Morning Assembly.

A large number of students from class VI  to  XI participated in poem recitation  very enthusiastically by reciting poems on cleanliness and greenliness. 

Day 7 11.09.2017 : Painting competition

Day 6: 09.09.2017 activities : Sharing experiences :

Good practices observed or experienced during visit to countries like Singapore, Malaysia and U.S.A by Mrs.Swaroopa Rani were described by her and she advised children to follow such good practices to see our future India to be clean and green and not to spit on walls and roads and try to do our works by ourselves without depending on others,like in Singapore .

Principal J.Rama Devi Shared experiences of her visit  to Germany and Japan where children use to clean class rooms  and people maintain their surroundings just like how  staff  maintain our Rajeev Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad.She also emphasized that children in Japan speak in low voice/volume to avoid noise pollution.She also applauded, how Havoloc Islands in India are maintained very clean and green.She advised children to practice these good practices of cleanliness at home,school and surroundings wherever they are.dd caption

Children of class VI to X made and brought different greeting cards and articles  from waste old cards,used ice cream sticks ,used plastic bottles and plastic cups  and photo frames under the guidance of Mrs.Vasundhari and Mrs Gnana Lakshmi  , and sold them in a sale counter  .They donated  the amount collected from this sale to a charitable organization .

Day 5 : 08.09.2017 Campus Cleaning  and Class room Cleaning

Students of IX to XII  and staff participated actively in cleaning the campus including plucking of the weed plants and grass near the play courts.

and corridors ,removing the cobwebs in class room ,cupboards,cleaning  window panes,doors and corridors .

 

Students and science teachers participated with a lot of interest to remove the grass and weed out unwanted plants in the Rose garden of the vidyalaya. 
   

Day 4 : 07-9-17   :Activity  1 .Painting on swachhta :Clean and green surrounding lead to the  protrection  of enviroment.
                      A large number of students of both primary and secondary enthusiastically participated in  the painting competition  that was conducted in the school in view of the Swachhta pakhwada under the supervision of Mr, satender,art master .
   
2.Essay writing competetion .An essay writing competition was  conducted in the libray  under the supervision of Mr.Malakar  on Swachhta.

Roof top cleaning

                            Photos of roof top from where stagnated water has been drained out.Stagnated watger  from the top of roof has been drained out by removing waste materials like dry leaves and dry sticks etc.

Day 3 : 06.09.2017 Cleaning Roof Top: Roof top (over the slab ) has been cleaned by Conservative staff under the supervision of K.James  and removed all dry leaves and waste material.

Day 2 : 04.09.2017 Class Talk on Swachhta

1. Principal of the Vidyalaya addressed the students  about importance of Cleanliness in respect of           thoughts, words and     deeds to have a clean, green and environmental protection around us.
2. She emphasized the Ban on use of polythene , as first step towards environmental protection.
    Also advised children not to eat / distribute chocolates and stop tearing the papers from the                 notebooks.
3. Donate a sapling for Greenary and gift a book campaign are also emphasized  for regular practices     on birthdays.
4. Swachhta Sena members were honoured with badges by the Principal.

5. Class teachers spoke about importance of having clean and green surroundings by keeping class          rooms,school tidy.

Report on Swachhta Pakhwada : Day 1 01.09.2017
1. Swachhta Pakhwada  fortnight started at KV No.1 Golconda on 01.09.2017 with a talk on Swachh       Bharat and    Swachh Vidyalaya followed by Swachhta Pledge by entire staff and students of the         Vidyalaya.
2. With 16 members Swachhta Sena committee was formed along with 4 teachers to monitor Swachh      Vidyalaya activities.
